Sarah McGowan has been teaching music for 14 years to students of all ages. With experience in classrooms, private instruction, and band environments, her goal is to help students strengthen their skills and discover their sound. Fill out an interest form for availability, rates and other info!
If you live outside the Woodstock/Crystal Lake area, distance coaching may be available via Skype or Facetime.
Music Lessons
Add some tools to your toolbox with music lessons tailored to your unique needs and personal goals. Offering private piano/guitar lessons for students of all ages. Competencies covered may include: PIANO - Note reading, ear-training, music theory, improvisation/playing from a chord chart and GUITAR - basic chord voicings, strum patterns, reading tab, finger-picking.
Songwriting
Your song is important! Your creativity reflects the nature of God and your testimony releases His prophetic promises over the nations. Songwriting coaching is all about helping you discover and develop your sound. Whether you need help fine-tuning an already complete work or you have ideas but need some help to continue, songwriting coaching can empower you to take the next step as a songwriter.
Vocal Coaching
God loves the sound of your voice in whatever form it comes, but with greater strength comes greater potential for impact and influence. The goal of vocal coaching is to help you discover your unique voice and become the best, strongest version of yourself. Through strengthening exercises and constructive feedback, you will be able to grow in confidence, range, and tone.
